This is a good book regarding reflective practice. I have brouhgt it to students attention as a supplementary text as it is slightly too high level to use as a cousre book. It has ideas though that I have used

I found the first chapter to be particularly useful. The overview of Reflection was effectively and clearly presented. The links to examples from students themselves was very pertinent and relevant. This first chapter was the solid foundation on which the rest of the book was built. Excellent.

Excellent book supports all aspects of enabling the learners to reflect. In particular Unit 5 on the CACHE ACD course and the CACHE EYFSP. Learners found it extremely supportive towards the studies and understanding of the concept.
Excellent guide for practitioners who don't consider that reflection is an essential part of the new early years professional. Clear and consise text. A must for any student or employer who wants to understand why reflection is critical for continual professional and personal progression.
Just what we have been looking for. A book that outlines the main tenets of reflective practice and then offers examples from practice. It is our single 'purchase' book for the module and I have requested multiple copies purchase from our library.
A clearly written 'easy read' for students to dip in and out of. This will aid my students in progressing to EYPS
Students often struggle with developing reflective skills therefore this book is an ideal starting point for undergraduate students on Early Years courses.
