This is a well-established text which we recommend for all of our primary courses even though we have written rival texts. Medwell and Wray are leaders in the field and their books are of a consistently high quality.

This book is a very basic guide on the practical aspects of teaching primary English. It is useful for new teachers to have for their personal use but it doesn't explore English teaching in depth.
