"This book is an excellent resource for students trying to understand how health care is delivered in Britain today"- Lecturer, Edge Hill University
This suplements the IPE strand of the curriculum at our institution.
Broken down into sections with activities and summaries.
The aspects of the book I like are the links to essential skill clusters, the historical perspective and the activities with the inclusion of brief outline answers

Initially considered chapter 6 and if this chapter moved away from the collaboration and partnership aspects but it represents an insightful consideration into how we perceive others and how this may influence our interactions. Therefore very pertinent to developing collaborative skills. A very useful book which would support assignment development.
Interesting, well written and informative. Wide range of references used.
This is an excellent book but requires a knowledge of the workings of the NHS in general. This is an excellent book for newly qulaifeid and for post qualifying studies.
There have been a number of texts written around the subject of interprofessional collaborative and practice, none of which have link to the core areas of importance within the NMC standards and essential skills clusters.

Plenty of scenarios and case studies to help students put what they've read into context. Good concept summaries and research summaries to clarify students' understanding. The inclusion of useful websites at the end of each chapter is a great idea.
