Jeffrey Ian Ross, Ph.D. is a Professor with the School of Criminal Justice and a Research Fellow at the Center for Comparative and International Law at the University of Baltimore. He has conducted research, written, and lectured on national security, political violence, political crime, policing, and corrections for over fifteen years. Mary Dodge earned her PhD in 1997 in criminology, law, and society from the School of Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine. She received her BA and MA in psychology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She is a full professor at the University of Colorado Denver in the School of Public Affairs.

Bruce A. Arrigo, PhD, holds a joint appointment at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). He is Professor of Criminology, Law, and Society within the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology and Professor of Public Policy within the College of Liberal Arts and Science’s interdisciplinary doctoral Program in Public Policy.

Francis T. Cullen is Distinguished Research Professor Emeritus and Senior Research Associate in the School of Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati, where he also holds a joint appointment in sociology. He received a Ph.D. (1979) in sociology and education from Columbia University.
