GEORGE W. HOLDEN, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He received his B.A. from Yale University and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After earning his degree in developmental psychology with a minor in social psychology, he was a member of the psychology faculty at the University of Texas for 23 years.
Greg Francis is a Professor of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University. He received his Ph.D. in Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University. He teaches undergraduate statistics for psychology students as well as selected other courses. His research focuses on mathematical models of visual perception. In 2003 Greg was awarded the teaching award for the psych department.
John V Vilanilam is the former Head of the Department of Communication and Journalism, University of Kerala, Trivandrum where he also served as the Vice-Chancellor between 1992 and 1996.
Garth S. Jowett is a professor of communications at the University of Houston. He obtained his PhD in history and communication from the University of Pennsylvania. He has served as the director for social research for the Canadian government's department of communication and has been a consultant to various international communication agencies. He has been widely published in the area of popular culture and the history of communication.
