An excellent little book. I would recommend to both students and mentors. Highlights the transition from student to registered nurse. The book is clear, easy to read and can be used fro both refernce and reflection.

A very useful text that focuses on the issues affecting newly qualified nurses. The scenarios are useful to give examples of how the theory may be applied in practice and the activities are very practical and relevant. This is a very appropriate text for 3rd year pre registartion students who are preparing to complete their studies and become qualified practitioners

A very useful book for students in their third year, it will help them reflect on the skills they will need to make a successful transition from being a student to staff nurse. The chapters on dealing with change should be particularly useful.
