Changes from edtiton one have brought the text up to date with the new EYFS requirements although there are aspects of edtition one that do not appear and are still very useful and relevant.

a good source of reference and also as a supplementary source of knowledge for those completing the National Diploma. Very good unit on observations which can be used across courses. Up to date information on playwork which is relevant to our changing society. Up to date and relevant knowledge in relation to the curriculum and how this can be applied.
This is an excellent book that has proved to be essential for anyone studying in the Early years at degree level. This has been put on the reading list of 3 different modules
