Kate Roberts

Kate Roberts is a national literacy consultant, author, and keynote speaker. She began her career teaching reading and writing in Brooklyn, NY, and went on to dedicate her work to supporting educators across the country as a literacy consultant focusing on translating big ideas into clear, replicable classroom moves. She is the author of The Heart of Fiction: Reading Through Character, Theme & Craft (2023) and A Novel Approach (2017), and co-author of Falling in Love with Close Reading (2013) and DIY Literacy (2015).
