The text does what it sets out to do by trying to present the disorders in a way that the reader can easily consume. As an instructor in this course area, the videos and knowledge checks are beneficial for helping drive home the material.
I appreciate that PTSD is a separate chapter. It is lumped into the anxiety disorder chapter in my current book. It has great anecdotes in the beginning and pulls in more research than my current book. I love the Knowledge Checks built in. Great job explaining the HPA axis. I like that it has the exact DSM 5-TR criteria.
I liked the inclusion of neuroscience throughout the chapter. In general, I thought the chapter was well-written, cohesive, and easy to read.
