Substance Use: Research and Treatment is an international, open access, peer reviewed journal which considers manuscripts on all areas of human substance use research and treatment. The journal welcomes new manuscripts addressing topics that are relevant to the etiology, classification, assessment, prevention, maintenance, and treatment of substance use, substance misuse, and substance use disorders for peer review. Examples of topics include but are not limited to:
- Medical treatment and screening
- Mental health services
- Evaluation of substance use programs.
