SAGE to begin publishing the Downside Review

London, UK. SAGE Publishing today announces that it is to begin publishing the Downside Review, a quarterly journal published by the monks of Downside since 1880, in partnership with Downside Abbey.

Offering a distinctively monastic perspective on the Church’s Faith and Tradition, the Downside Review has provided a forum for scholarly communication and debate since its founding. The aim of the journal is to provide a key platform on which to discuss and demonstrate the impact of Catholic intellectual life on the culture of our day.

The journal’s Editor, Dr Simon Johnson, commented:

“The Downside Review has a rich history of publishing Church commentary from a monastic perspective and we are delighted to begin this new chapter in the journals history with SAGE Publishing.
