SAGE to begin publishing HAND, official journal of the American Association for Hand Surgery

Los Angeles, CA (June 10, 2015) SAGE today announces that it is to publish HAND, a multidisciplinary journal that specializes in the research and medical management and surgical management of the hand, wrist, and upper extremity. The official journal of the American Association for Hand Surgery, SAGE will begin publishing HAND in 2016.

Launched in 2006, HAND is an international resource for healthcare providers and researchers seeking to manage hand-related injuries and diseases. Published quarterly, the journal disseminates research on studying or treating the hand within surgical, medical, and therapeutic contexts.

Founded in 1970, The American Association for Hand Surgery is comprised of over 1,200 professionals in the areas of hand surgery and hand therapy. Devoted to global upper extremity health and education, the Association and its Endowment support international outreach missions which foster hand health and promote upper extremity education. Additionally, the Association hosts webinars and an annual conference to support advancements in the knowledge and practices of hand care.
