Laura Gail Lunsford
Laura Gail Lunsford is an expert on mentoring, leader development, and developing optimal relationships. She has authored over 40 case studies, chapters, and articles on mentoring and leadership. Recent books she has authored or edited include A Handbook for Managing Mentoring Programs published by Routledge, the Sage Handbook of Mentoring and Developing Faculty in Liberal Arts Colleges published by Rutgers University Press. She frequently consults with organizations on mentoring and leadership, and her work has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Institute for Data Sciences, and the Department of Education. She was recently appointed to a National Academies Consensus Study on Mentoring. Her BA and PhD are from NC State University. She was the 2009 recipient of the International Mentoring Association’s Dr. Hope Richardson Dissertation Award. She is a full professor of psychology at Campbell University.
