Wolfgang Bielefeld, co-editor of Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, is a professor in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Since 1994, he has been a member of the editorial board for VOLUNTAS - International Journal of Voluntary and Nonprofit Organizations. He is the co-author of an award-winning book and author or co-author of numerous other publications. He has also been an active member of the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action. Before he joined the faculty at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI in 1999, he was a faculty member at the University of Texas at Dallas
