This book is well aimed at the MSc level student undertaking a systematic review. The book is well divided into appropriate chapters, guiding the student through each important section before moving on to the next section. The technical terms are well expressed in language that the student can understand. After each section there are some examples of frequently asked questions which are really useful. I would definitely have this book on the desirable reading list for the projects module as a useful resource to help guide the students.

Very helpful for MA Education students undertaking primary research
The COVID-19 pandemic has a a negative impact on the opportunities for empirical data collection and as a result there has been a move to secondary data sets and systematic review of literature as the basis of Masters level dissertations. This book is invaluable for ensuring the students have the knowledge and understanding to make a reasonable attempt at systematic review within the constraints of Masters submission and assessment criteria.
