Phillippa Wiseman is a research associate at the Scottish Learning Disabilities Observatory at the University of Glasgow. Her research focuses on disability, inequalities, belonging, and embodied citizenship. She is currently working on projects focusing on the health and well-being of people with learning disabilities in Scotland particularly in relation to everyday experiences of violence, reproductive well-being, and gender-based violence. She is also interested in feminist methodologies, critical phenomenology, and lived experience as lenses through which to understand and explore everyday intimacies.
