Nicolas Demaurex University of Geneva, Switzerland

Nicolas Demaurex is professor in the department of Cell Physiology and Metabolism at the University of Geneva. His laboratory uses mouse genetics, ion imaging, electrophysiology, electron microscopy, and a variety of imaging techniques to study the mechanisms controlling calcium signals at membrane contact sites within innate immune cells. Nicolas Demaurex is also vice-dean of the medical faculty of the University of Geneva, in charge of the research infrastructure.
