Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology was part of a partnership between Sage and Wiley. From January 2026 Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology will return to Sage and will be published and hosted on the Sage website. Any new submissions to the journal from 10th November 2025 onwards should be submitted to the Sage submission site.

Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology (NMNT) is a JCR ranked, peer-reviewed, open access, international journal that focuses on the fundamental aspects and applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology in the areas of physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering, and electronics. Please see the Aims and Scope tab for further information.

This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology is a JCR ranked, peer-reviewed open access journal addressed to a cross-disciplinary readership including scientists, researchers and professionals in both academia and industry with an interest in nanoscience and nanotechnology. The scope comprises (but is not limited to) the fundamental aspects and applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology in the areas of physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering, and electronics.
 
All submitted articles considered suitable for Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology are subjected to rigorous peer review to ensure the highest levels of quality. The review process is carried out as quickly as possible to minimize any delays in the online publication of articles.
