Venkat Yanamandram Associate Professor of Marketing, Faculty of Business and Law, University of Wollongong, Australia

Venkat Yanamandram is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business at the University of Wollongong, Australia. Venkat is the Director of Assurance of Learning, responsible for executing the Faculty’s plan for systematically collecting data on student learning outcomes, reviewing and using the data to continuously develop and improve the Faculty’s academic programs. Venkat has previously worked as the MBA Course Director.

Venkat has taught at MBA and Executive MBA levels as well as at undergraduate levels, both onshore and offshore. For his contribution to teaching and learning, Venkat has received University and Faculty level awards. Venkat’s research interest is in marketing education and services marketing; he has joint publications in several peer-reviewed international journals. Venkat successfully supervised two doctoral candidates to completion, and is currently supervising four doctoral students. Prior to joining academia, he worked as a market researcher in Australia, and held key-account sales positions in the information technology industry in India.
