Jon T. Mandracchia, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Missouri Western State University, in St. Joseph, Missouri. His primary research interests focus on two distinct areas: thinking patterns that perpetuate criminal behavior (i.e., criminogenic thinking) and suicide among correctional populations. He has also been involved in research that focuses on topics such as psychopathy and other maladaptive personality features, attitudes towards criminal justice issues, and education/training in correctional and forensic psychology.
