Jie Li is an Associate Professor in the International Business School Suzhou at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Management from Osaka University in 2015. His research interests are in the area of international management, organizational legitimacy, and employees’ proactive behavior. His work has appeared in such journals as the Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics, and International Business Review. He serves as Associate Editor of Applied Psychology: An International Review and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Asian Journal of Social Psychology, etc. He teaches Strategic Organizational Design, Organizational Change Management, and Organizational Behavior for MBA and executive education programs. He develops and publishes teaching cases in the area of social innovation and entrepreneurship. His cases have been awarded one of 100 Outstanding Chinese Teaching Cases in Management in 2019 and the Second Prize of 2020 Global Contest for the Best China- Focused Teaching Cases.
