SAGE Publishing and the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery Foundation launch new open access journal

SAGE Publishing is pleased to announce the launch of OTO Open, the official open access journal of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery Foundation. OTO Open covers research on diseases and disorders affecting the ears, nose, throat, and related areas of the head and neck, and joins the Academy’s premier journal, Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.

“OTO Open covers a broad array of science, from medical conditions to communication, speech, and hearing problems,” commented Editor In Chief John H. Krouse, MD, PhD, MBA. “We are pleased to work with SAGE Publishing to bring the latest research from the field to a global audience of scientists and clinicians in order to stimulate new ideas and innovative treatments.”

Topics covered by the gold open access journal include general otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, health policy and economics, laryngology and neurolaryngology, pediatric otolaryngology, sinonasal disorders, clinical techniques and technology, patient safety and quality improvement, reconstructive surgery, allergy and immunology, sleep medicine, thyroid and parathyroid, and more.
