Brian Bow is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Centre for Foreign Policy Studies at Dalhousie University. His research is primarily concerned with the role of institutions and ideas in policy coordination and foreign policy-making, and he has published on Canadian foreign and security policy, Canada-US relations, North American integration, and identity politics in Canada, the US and Mexico. He is the author of The Politics of Linkage: Power, Interdependence and Ideas in Canada-US Relations, which won the Donner prize as the best Canadian book on public policy in 2009. His current research project focuses on the mechanics of network-driven policy coordination in North America.
