Richard J. Chasdi, PhD is an adjunct assistant professor at the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at Wayne State University and an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Windsor. His three books include Counterterror Offensives for the Ghost War World: The Rudiments of Counterterrorism Policy (Lexington Books, 2010), Tapestry of Terror: A Portrait of Middle East Terrorism, 1994-1999 (Lexington Books, 2002), and Serenade of Suffering: A Portrait of Middle East Terrorism 1968-1993 (Lexington Books, 1999—CHOICE magazine ‘‘Outstanding Academic Title’’ 2000). Dr. Chasdi has written academic articles and book chapters, and is a member of the Editorial Board of Perspectives on Terrorism: A Journal of the Terrorism Research Initiative, where he writes a monthly ‘‘Research Note.’’ He also serves on the International Advisory Board of Terrorism: An Electronic Journal & Knowledge Base. In addition, he is an adjunct faculty member at Walsh College.
