Audra Skukauskaite teaches Qualitative Research Methodology at the University of the Incarnate Word. Her research and teaching interests focus on epistemology and transparency in ethnographic and qualitative research, discourse-based approaches, and student learning of research. She has published chapters and articles on ethnographic analyses of text and video records as well as on teacher perspectives on learning and impact of educational reforms in Lithuania. She served as an Assistant Editor for the Handbook of Complementary Perspectives in Education Research (American Educational Research Association (AERA)), and as Guest Editor for Pedagogies and Journal of Classroom Interaction. Currently, she is an Editorial Board Member for The Qualitative Report and the Family Journal, reviews for multiple journals, and holds a number of leadership positions at the AERA.
