Santosh Kumar Biswal is working as an Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Rama Devi Women's University, Bhubaneswar (India). He has worked in Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. Previously, he has worked in Andhra Loyola College (Autonomous), Vijayawada; and Hindustan Times, New Delhi. He has published research papers in Scopus and ABDC indexed journals. He has published popular columns in national English dailies including The Indian Express, The Asian Age, The Telegraph, Hindustan Times, The Pioneer, The Statesman and Deccan Chronicle. He is the West India Lead, South Asia Regional Research Hub (SARRH) for Journalism Education and Trauma Research Group (JETREG). JETREG is studying the trauma of working journalists on a global scale.
