Amanda Staiano, PhD Pennington Biomedical Research Center, Baton Rouge, LA, USA

Amanda Staiano is a faculty member and director of the Pediatric Obesity and Health Behavior Laboratory at PBRC. She earned her PhD in developmental psychology and master of public policy at Georgetown University, followed by a master of science in clinical research at Tulane University. She serves as the principal investigator (PI) of the epidemiological observational cohort study described in this case, TIGER Kids (USDA 3092-51000-054-04A).
