John William McKenna is an associate professor of moderate disabilities and affiliate of the Center for Autism Research & Education (CARE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. His research interests include evidence-based practices for students with emotional and behavioral disorders and responsible inclusion. He is particularly interested in maintaining the full continuum of placement options for students with disabilities and improving teacher use of research-based instructional methods.
