Audrey Alejandro is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Methodology, London School of Economics and Political Science. She researches the politics of discourse and knowledge in society and international politics, how we can apprehend their effects, and what it takes to produce discourse and knowledge helping us to create a world consistent with our values. She is co-convenor of the research group Doing International Political Sociology, co-editor of the book series Trends in European International Relations Theory (Palgrave) and author of the book Western Dominance in International Relations? The Internationalisation of IR in Brazil and India (Routledge, 2018). Her current research projects include methods for reflexivity in practice, the medicalization of male circumcision as an anti-HIV policy and discourses of resilience in the micro-states of the Caribbean.
