The book is well structured and the internal quality assurance qualifications well laid out. Assessor checklist particularly effective, with plenty of case study examples to engage readers, as well as extension activities. Essential reading.

Very useful guidance to support the assessor element for new teachers who are involved in assessing within their role. Clear and logical layout with a very easy to read style. I particularly liked the detail of the different assessment methods with their strengths and limitations - has given me some ideas for changing some of the assessment methods I use myself.

Another good book from Ann Gravells that simplifies the TAQA units and gives guidance for assignment completion. A good book to support the Assessment unit within the Award in Education and Training.
