The book includes over 200 multiple-choice and extended multiple-choice questions, carefully designed to assess depth of knowledge. At the end of each chapter sample essay questions are provided, along with further guidance, to complement the multiple-choice questions and further test understanding. In addition, information is provided to help students make sense of their results and identify strengths and weaknesses.
A very good reader friendly textbook particularly suitable for year 2 students. The inclusion of multiple choice questions brilliant as it enables students to monitor their own learning.
I found the book had a very good coverage of the key areas for year 1 undergraduates and it was clearly layed out ...however, I am now no longer teaching this unit in 2012 but I will keep it to refer to and recommend to students for the areas that cross-over into social psychology.
This is a good book that provided additional resources to test the students. It would be fantastic to have an additional section before each chapter as a revision guild. Good book though
