Stylistically engaging and accessible, the book demonstrates the relevance of ethical considerations at every stage of the research process.
Interesting, thought provoking and much needed book. Would have loved even more extensive sections on chapters 4-8 on the 'doing' of ethical research. The chapter on the ethics of dissemination makes a very valuable contribution to an oft neglected aspect of research ethics. Would have welcomed more on the ethics of literature reviews.

Ethics are often included in research texts but rarely is there a focus on this essential part of any programme where evaluating or carrying out research is a key component. Good to see that this has been addressed here

An excellent text on the subject recommended to students
Ethical issues are an increasingly complex aspect of undertaking research. Similarly reading research studies requires a detailed insight into the complexity of ethical considerations.
This book provides valuable advice and insight into this topic for students undertaking a range of research studies or analyzing research.
Useful book for those undertaking education research, only not adopted as the students who were thinking of studying education/learning as a dissertation did not do so. As a teacher I will look at using it to help develop my own research ideas.
