Behavior and Classroom Management in the Multicultural Classroom
Proactive, Active, and Reactive Strategies
- Terry L. Shepherd - Indiana University South Bend, USA
- Diana Linn - Texas A&M International University
This text integrated a multicultural perspective into each chapter and aspect of classroom management. This expanded the traditional focus on just behavior and required the perspective of the student in the context of family, culture, and community.
I found that the book covers theory, FBA, multiculturalism- it kind of has a broad rather than in depth way of tackling the issues. I did like the chapter on legal issues.
Sheperd's book is both timely and practical. A great thought provoking read
