Rocki-Lee DeWitt, a Professor of Management at the Grossman School of Business (GSB), has also served as University of Vermont Dean of the business school and Associate Dean for Professional Masters Programs at Penn State. Recognized for engaging students in case-based studies at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive education levels, Rocki currently teaches introduction to business and international business courses to undergraduate students. Her research focuses on how businesses address difficult situations, including family-non-family employee conflict, downsizing and corporate restructuring, family tragedies, and terrorism, with emphasis on businesses involved in land-based industries. In addition to numerous book chapters, her research has appeared in prestigious academic journals, includingAcademy of Management Journal,Strategic Management Journal,Organization Science,Case Research Journal, Family Business Review. She serves on the editorial boards ofAcademy of Management Learning and Education andFamily Business Review. She has chaired the audit committee and risk and strategy committee of an agricultural credit association. She serves as a trusted advisor to CEOs focused on family business continuity, performance management systems, and talent management
