Steven N. Levine, MD, FACP Louisiana State University Medical Center, USA

Dr. Steven N. Levine is Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Section of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill.

Dr. Levine is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of the Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. His Dr. Levine's research interests focus on the management of patients with disorders of calcium metabolism, diabetes, and thyroid cancer. Dr. Levine is listed in “Best Doctors” and on many occasions has received the best clinical instructor award from graduating medical students and Internal Medicine residents. In 2005 he received the Allen A. Copping Award for Excellence in Teaching, the highest teaching award at LSU.
