Tamara Trost, PhD University of Ljubljana, Slovenia

Tamara Trošt is an associate professor of sociology at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business. She received her PhD from Harvard University, and later spent time as a visiting professor at the University of Graz and Princeton University. At the University of Ljubljana, she teaches courses on qualitative and mixed research methods, and is also a member of at both the University and the School research ethics committees. Her research interests are nationalism and ethnic identity, memory, and the effect of schools on political socialization of youth, with a geographic focus on the Balkans.
