Afrooz Afghani School of Arts & Sciences, Brandman University, Irvine, California, USA

Professor Afghani's education, research, and teaching experience in the last two decades integrate the disciplines of clinical and preventive medicine, kinesiology, nutrition, human physiology, and epidemiology. Dr. Afghani earned her MPH from UCLA and her PhD from the University of Southern California with a dual focus in Kinesiology and Epidemiology. At USC, she also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Preventive Medicine. Currently, Dr. Afghani teaches and mentors graduate students at UCLA and at George Washington University.
