The is an excellent resource, the case studies within are great for the student, as they use examples of how the reading material can be applied within their practice.
Provides good, accessible information
This is a fresh look at nursing clinical skills will draws the reader in. Typically, a student might be using the book for research or inquiry, but stay longer to read other related areas to accumulate incidental learning. The book is well referenced and is mapped to NMC standards.

Brilliant book. Very useful for first year students and I will definitely be adopting for them. It has some very helpful information for them which is easy to follow
This was added to the reading list as a support resource. It was adopted due to it's additional resources, such as the videos, case studies and points for reflection. This will hopefully encourage the students to think deeper around the topic and the links to the clinical setting.
