SAGE Publishing text, Understanding Narrative Inquiry, receives Outstanding Publication Award

SAGE Publishing is delighted to announce that Understanding Narrative Inquiry: The Crafting and Analysis of Stories as Research, by Dr. Jeong-Hee Kim, has received the Outstanding Publication Award from the Narrative Research Special Interest Group (SIG) of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). SAGE Publishing has acquired Talis, a technology company, and its enterprise teaching and learning platform, Talis Aspire.

This acquisition marks an important step for SAGE as it moves SAGE's product portfolio beyond content-led resources into technology solutions that support teaching, learning and research in the higher education institution. This new move is in response to the evolving student, researcher, and library needs.

The Conversation in the UK celebrates its first year

Independent news analysis and commentary site The Conversation celebrates its first birthday in the UK today and also welcomes Alice Roberts, Professor of Public Engagement in Science, as a Patron.

The Conversation was launched in the UK on 16 May 2013 as a collaboration between professional editors and academics. It provides the public with rolling coverage of news and access to new information about cutting-edge research as it becomes available.
