Dr. Nazanin Heydarian is an assistant professor of Social Work at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She received her PhD from the University of Texas at El Paso and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin in Chronic Disease Health Disparities. She teaches courses on research methods and statistics. Her research interests include health promotion for people with disabilities.
