An easy to read text that introduces research with children.
This book is divided into three distinctive sections that guides the reader through the ethics, preparation and planning of a research project with children. There are activities and practical advice throughout to highlight the essential elements of conducting research with children.

My sense is that the authors of this book have carefully considered the other work that is available on research with children and written a book that can secure its own distinctive place and value. An undoubted strength is its emphasis on research with vulnerable groups of children and young people, questions of recruitment, and method selection. The activities are particularly helpful and thought provoking for even experienced researchers.
